At Functional Paediatric Therapy we love helping children and adolescents to thrive in their everyday life. We support them to move their body in a way that is fun and meaningful, whilst achieving their goals.
We understand that families are busy and often exhausted from other commitments, therefore when you attend a session with us, we are dedicated to making you feel understood and provide you with the best care for your children.
Functional Paediatric Therapy provides family-centred evidence-based physical therapy to children and adoelscents with movement difficulties, gross motor delays and any childhood condition impacting their gross motor function or participation.
Appointments are offered in a range of settings convenient for you.

WHAT IS AN ACCREDITED EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST (AEP)
“AEPs are university qualified allied health professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. Pathology domains covered by the services of AEPs include cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancers, kidney, respiratory / pulmonary and mental health, and any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the client’s clinical status” - Exercise & Sport Science Australia.
